REFLECTIVE PRACTICE
Reflective teaching is examining what ones does in the classroom by questioning why you do it, and questioning if it works. It is a continuous process of self-observation and self-evaluation. By gathering information about what goes on in the classroom, and by analysing and evaluating this information, one can begin to identify and explore ones' own practices and underlying beliefs and values. This may then lead to changes and improvements in our teaching. Reflective teaching is an integral part of ones' daily routine and continuous professional development which begins in our classroom.
