Short Course: Plaster Casting and Collaborative Sculpture

This collaborative sculpture project fostered learning about conceptual art in the classroom and how it can enhance conceptual development of ideas and assist in developing literacy skills.

A group of second year art students were given with a wide range of artists' and asked to respond to these artists'. Student experimented with a wide range of materials and documented the process in their sketchbooks.The project took place over a duration of nine weeks and was in conjunction with an action-research project.
